One of the amazing things about this country is that here justice runs counterclockwise. Research and justice institutions are strongly controlled by absolved terrorists and their hidden work, which has driven the state (that should be to serve the public) to work for a handful of powerful criminals that want to use Colombia for their families’ and friends’ welfare. All these already mentioned have selfish and criminal interests.
It is sad that there is no honorable big press, interested in researching and disclosing the truth. It is also sad that journalists use their credibility to entice their readers and viewers and then go after the government sordidly to receive millions in official advertising with the condition to continue to deceive the country with the story that this is a good government and that terrorist groups (now allies of the government) are humanitarian organizations not capable of killing a fly.
It is sad that a president who was a journalist is precisely the one who threatens and persecutes those journalists who do not agree with the terrible fate that he wants to impose to the Colombians by subjugating them to drug traffickers who subdue half a world by fear or bribery. Thanks to this shameful policy, Mr. Fernando Londoño (previously minister and currently journalist, director of La Hora de la Verdad) was almost assassinated, after a bomb was brought through Venezuela by an ETA and put to work by the FARC through hands of criminals and accomplices who helped in logistics, for example, to manipulate the timing of traffic lights to stop the car of Mr. Londoño; hands in Bogotá Telecommunications Enterprise, an organization controlled by the amnestied guerrilla M – 19 and those who help the FARC .
So when I had the technical confirmation that Santos’s government was intercepting my phones I was not surprised at all. I thought it was more bearable a telephone being intercepted than a bomb in my house. But as I said in La Hora de la Verdad (listen to audio in Spanish: http://www.ivoox.com/entre-ricardo-puentes-28-mayo-audios-mp3_rf_2081490_1.html ) what really terrified me was that they had also tapped the phones that my wife and my children of 12, 10 and 7 years old use. What terrible things could a children plan…? I do not know … Or do they want to cause them harm… maybe they want to kidnap one of them as they did years ago, causing my children to live almost like prisoners in four walls…?
So within the surreal world that we had to live in bad luck, I accepted as a routine and as unavoidable that my phone was being intercepted. But what terrified me greatly was the following report that friends (experts in interceptions) passed me urgently.
From the U.S., my friends released the fateful news. The computers in my house, including those that my children use, were subject to a very sophisticated attack, an espionage that allowed access to the hard drive, see in real time what you were typing, spy the email accounts, use the cameras of the computers to observe what happens in the privacy of our home. That was scary, I confess.
How do you know that Santos government is the one executing this mafia task? My friends, in their expertise, confirmed IP addresses, used technology, strategy, mechanisms… all that was already used by this government against other people, and launched by a section of the National Police that has the human and technical equipment to do this kind of wiretapping and persecution.
When I heard this, I understood the many times when members of the National Police showed up to where I was to harass my security scheme and to disarm it, to leave me unprotected. I understood the lack of support to my cries for help in times when I needed to move and could not, due to the lack of security because my scheme was not complete. I understood everything. I understood the systematic way this government has been persecuting me, along with my family, which is very difficult to comment without feeling fear for the lives of my children on a daily basis.
Conclusion: Yes. This government in hand with its intelligence agencies has invaded the privacy of my home, is intercepting my phone and my computer. And the reasons can be understood by looking at the research we develop in Periodismo Sin Fronteras.
I do not even feel like complaining to the FLIP or to the SIP because the first is driven by Ignacio Gomez and Daniel Coronell, and FLIP was the one that wrote to Reporteros Sin Fronteras, based in Paris, to tell them to give no support to my security petitions because neither my family nor I deserved to be protected. The second, the SIP, is managed by the Santos, Enrique Santos, the guerrilla boy of Chico. He was president of that international press institution. The so-called journalist protection institutions backup mainly all those journalists primarily related to Marxism and those who are enemies of the military. And I am neither the one nor the other.
But what I will do in the next few hours is to start a process in the Attorney General’s Office. Even with the present conviction that the Attorney General’s Office is available to give impunity by shielding terrorists, and who has filed away all reports related to them, even with all the evidence that I have presented against pardoned guerrillas that are in power today.
I hope the new communicators and journalists do not follow the footsteps of their leaders who, for profit or simple cowardice, have become accomplices of the scalawag (Juan Manuel Santos).
I promise not to put away my pen to defend the truth with the firm conviction that I will not throw away my convictions to the trash right where President Santos and his partners in La Habana spit on a daily basis the wastes of the substances they consume and want to legalize aiding the criminal corporation that leaves millions of victims in Colombia and the world.
In my case, my gland of fear has been removed.
